Creating honest art that touches its audience is the drive behind Ella Ion’s music. Hailing from Kaurna Land (Adelaide, South Australia), Ion (she/her) is a singer-songwriter who was inspired after picking up classical guitar at 10 by world, folk and country music. She released her debut album, "Waiting" in March 2023 - a 10 track collection of heartfelt folk/rock ballads incorporating themes of deep longing and harsh introspection. With live performances ranging from tender folk sets to heavy post-rock arrangements, Ion promises to capture and move audiences with her unique style.
