Today we are super duper excited to welcome a new member to our little record label family here at Our Golden Friend. Everybody meet FERLA, or perhaps you might already know him as Giuliano Ferla, a friendly face around the Melbourne music scene and former frontman of Twin Beasts (previously The Toot Toot Toots). FERLA joins our little label family which currently includes jade imagine, POPPONGENE & 808s & Greatest Hits.

Ferla is very excited to share with the world his brand new single 'I Can't Let You Down' available on iTunes & all streaming services today. Combining garage-pop and new-wave synths with incisive lyrics and dark wit, 'I Can't Let You Down' is the first single lifted from FERLA's second EP which is set to be released in late 2016.

In 2015 FERLA released his debut EP Guilt Pop which was met with much critical acclaim and received Album Of The Week in Beat Magazine & The Brag, Tone Deaf Feature Album, and regular national airplay on community radio stations.
 
The FERLA live experience is made up of seasoned, dedicated and highly skilled performers and musicians. What a treat! And the best news is that you can get out and see a live show real soon. FERLA will be performing a very special Melbourne single launch show at their spiritual home The Old Bar on Saturday 3rd of September + a bunch of support shows real soon too.

In more very exciting news FERLA will also be heading north to Brisbane in September to play at this year's Bigsound Music Industry Conference. Mark under must see on your Bigsound schedules people, because this live show is killer, trust us, we saw them play a jammed packed front bar at The Tote a month ago and it was mint!
